Asgill Global Shipping was started on July 1st 2005 by Christopher Jones-Asgill, a Sierra Leonean entrepreneur living in Atlanta Georgia USA, to provide an easier and hassle free way for customers to send cargo to West Africa. Asgill Global shipping specializes in shipping LTLs (Less Than container Loads).

 
  
We group and consolidate these LTLs from various customers to full 40 ft containers which we then ship out to various ports in West Africa using Maersk Line DELMAS and a few other shipping Lines. We started out serving only Freetown, Sierra Leone and expanded quickly to Ghana, Gambia, and Liberia. We also ship full containers to any destination worldwide. We offer a complete range of services from transportation and logistics to the ports as well as clearing and forwarding at our various destinations in West Africa.
  
Our friendly staff will deliver your goods directly to final destinations in various capital cities in West Africa or we can store for a limited time until customer pick up from our storage facilities. By providing these services we hope to eliminate all the potential problems that you (the customer) have been plagued with in the past when shipping goods to West Africa; namely having to wait to get a full container load before shipping or maneuvering the sometimes “complicated” clearing procedures notorious in many West African ports.
   
We cater to businesses, individuals shipping HHG PE (Household Goods and Personal Effect), Non-profit charitable organizations and Governments. We have served thousands and thousands of customers over the past few years and hope that our reliable door-to-door shipping service will continue to increase the flow of goods between the United States and West Africa ultimately providing numerous benefits for people of both sides of the Atlantic.
